New NFPA 101 training in English and Turkish

Professionals responsible for building safety, compliance, and fire protection can now deepen their expertise through the NFPA 101 Life Safety Code (2024) Essentials Training offered by Riskonet Academy.

The training sessions are taught by our new instructor, Eyüp Sami Soytekin. He will not only teach the NFPA 101 training in English and Turkish, but the NFPA 13, 20, and 25 courses will also be taught by him in Turkish. Please note: the exam and course content are in English.

Why a course in NFPA 101 is useful

The training helps participants confidently apply NFPA 101 in practice. Topics include safe means of egress, hazardous area protection, vertical openings, fire alarm systems, fire suppression systems, and occupancy classifications. 

From code knowledge to practical application

The course combines instructor-led sessions with collaborative exercises and realistic case studies. This approach helps participants translate code requirements into practical decisions for real building safety challenges.

After completing the training, participants will be able to apply occupancy classifications, calculate occupant load and egress capacity, reference requirements for fire protection systems, define rehabilitation work categories, and determine requirements for high-rise buildings and special structures.

Who is this training for?

The course is designed for professionals involved in life safety compliance, including facility managers, inspectors, engineers, architects, safety directors, consultants, risk managers, designers, and project managers.

Participants receive online access to the related NFPA standard, digital training materials, and an NFPA certificate. After the course, they also have the opportunity to take the official NFPA 101 online exam.
