At Riskonet Academy, we believe that strong training starts with strong instructors. That is why we are proud to introduce Engineer Eyüp Sami Soytekin — an internationally experienced Fire Protection and Safety Engineer with a passion for helping professionals grow in fire safety, risk management, and asset protection.

Eyüp will not only teach the NFPA 101 training in both English and Turkish, but will also teach the NFPA 13, 20, and 25 courses in both languages. Please note: the exam and course content are in English.

International expertise in fire protection engineering

With more than 15 years of experience in large-scale energy, power generation, and industrial projects, Eyüp brings a rare combination of technical expertise, practical engineering insight, and structured teaching methods to every training session.

Eyüp holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and is both a Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) and NEBOSH Fire Safety and Risk Assessment certified professional. Throughout his career, he has worked on complex industrial facilities where fire protection systems and risk management strategies play a critical role in operational continuity and the protection of high-value assets.

Eyüp’s previous work experiences

His experience covers multidisciplinary engineering environments, working closely with mechanical, process, electrical, and civil engineering teams to deliver integrated fire protection solutions — from concept development to detailed design and implementation.

This extensive project background allows him to connect international code requirements with the practical realities engineers face in the field every day.

More than code compliance

As an NFPA Approved Training Instructor, Eyüp believes effective training goes beyond simply explaining standards and regulations.

His courses focus on:

  • Understanding the intent behind international standards
  • Developing engineering judgment
  • Applying fire protection principles in real-world scenarios
  • Translating theory into practical project solutions

Participants not only learn what the standards require, but also why those requirements matter and how to apply them effectively in practice.

Why professionals appreciate Eyüp’s training

Eyüp’s training style is known for being:

  • Technically strong and practice-oriented
  • Clear, structured, and engaging
  • Focused on real engineering challenges
  • Tailored to industry needs
  • Designed to support continuous professional development

Whether you are an experienced fire safety professional or just starting your journey in the field, his courses are designed to strengthen technical competence and build confidence in applying international standards.

Interactive and professional learning experience

Training sessions with Eyüp are available in both live virtual and in-person classroom formats. Participants benefit from an interactive learning environment that encourages discussion, engagement, and practical problem-solving.

His ability to combine international project experience with approachable teaching methods makes every session both informative and highly relevant to day-to-day engineering practice.
